COME ON OLISEH! WTF! A THINKING CAP PLEASE

I was taught back in my days in the journalism school never to be bias in reporting, never take side, just be neutral, be balanced and thats what we call objectivity in journalism *Dusting shoulders* hehehehe, at least i know ma Dad's money didn't waste lol. I am trying to be objective by waiting for Oliseh's part of the story but whatever he's got to say! Damn! You don't do that shii with a national icon!

Okay, you can say i am starting the whole thing from the tail, get a trophy for that, the whole story i am sure most of y'all have heard, Super Eagles 'captain' Vincent Enyeama was REPORTEDLY bounced out of the team's camp at the order of the coach Sunday Ogochukwu Oliseh, sorry Mr Sunday Olisheh, and that got me like what tha heck! Was the coach on something or what?! That dude is our hero, a captain for that matter, what could have happened!

Enyeama is really vexing o!
I personally feel this is totally unfair on the part of Sunny Oliseh, yeah he is trying to instill discipline into the team but asking Enyeama to be bounced out in the presence of younger players is a disgrace to the goalkeeper and a total disaster in Oliseh's decision, thats way too much, that dude has got dignity, he is not always like that and we all know. The last time he missed the team's match was because he lost his mom, now he is back into the team, if na me, i am so taking more time off!

Oliseh should be told that if he wanna vent any anger, it should be on Victor Moses who withdrew from the team with a baseless excuse and not Vincent. I can imagine how some other players in the team will be feeling especially those loyal to Vincent, gradually the team is dividing. A Mikel who has no mouth playing for a 16th (lol) placed team in England too will be feeling important now in the camp anytime Enyeama talks, why? because you disrespected him in the midst of other players especially the home-based players.

And just when i was thinking "Ok, lets forgive him since the NFF has intervened", Bros Sunny drooped another bombshell!

According to him:

"There is no captaincy tussles. For Nigeria going forward, I need a player who is regular in the team and it is Ahmed Musa, who did a great job in Tanzania under very difficult circumstances. He (Musa) is the captain of the team, not somebody who is thinking of retirement. A captain has to lead by example. We are not here to build stars. If you don’t conform to what I am trying to do, we will be friends, but we will be friends from afar. There has been a new government and the President has picked new ministers. And that is what I have also done." - Sunday Oliseh

Hehehehehehe, I swear down, this Sunny Oliseh dude is a real Politician! Did he just used the word "Ministers"? Gademn it! He wants a player who is regular in the team, Oliseh should be shown the record, nobody can rival Enyeama, nobody, he has always been there since 2002, we all know this and i am sure he does too so why this excuse to drop him as the captain of the team and i have no issue with Musa but its gonna be weird having Enyeama on the pitch and Musa wearing the captain's armband, even having Mikel on the pitch and Musa the captain? God! Drama cant cease from Nigeria Football.

Oliseh must be relying on Carl Ikeme, who is no doubt a wonderful goalkeeper but just the way Oliseh mentioned the president picking new ministers, he should check the ministerial lists very well and see that the president picked EXPERIENCED people to work with, Carl Ikeme doesnt even have the English Premier League experience! He has always been in the second-tier of English football. U wanna compare with a veteran of the World Cup, Nations Cup winner, champions League experience, Europa League experience and has faced the Messi and other world class players, intact, Messi had to salute him too! Experience aint something you bend down and pick at Yaba Market. Bros Oliseh, you need to put on your thinking cap.

The NFF should apologize to Enyeama and i see nothing wrong in Oliseh doing the same thing, asking a bouncer to eject him from the team's hotel is an height of disrespect to the man who has served this country for 13 years. Meanwhile, i expect Oliseh to give me a call soon. i saw his "please call me back" though and i am sure he wanna discuss this issue and i will tell him exactly what i just wrote here.

I am out.

SCREENING THE MINISTERIAL LIST OURSELVES

I've always try as much as i can to be very neutral when it comes to politics, especially in this part of the World where we all know people prefer to support a party rather than an individual who could impact in their lives.

During the last election, i wasn't against the person of Mr Jonathan, i just wanted a change in how the country was, i felt so disappointed that Nigeria is 'secretly' running a two-party system when we are suppose to have many credible candidates, but alas, we had just two options, one who has been leading us and we groaning and another who is coming back after two, or three? attempts. We had no choice, if MC Oluomo of Oshodi had emerged as APC candidate then, we would have voted him trust me, we just wanted Jona to go and yes it happened.

We cant however deny the fact that we are beginning to see few changes especially in the power sector where some of us now switch off our refridgerators to avoid our bottles been broken, even though some people are saying its not like that in their areas but it will be unGodly to fail to give credit to this administration for the massive improvement in the power sector.

Fashola, Amaechi and Fayemi. All are former governors! Recycling!

One major talk of the 'town' has been the delay in the release of the ministerial list but thank God the list is out and i just got hold of the list from Aunty Mi Linda's blog, and i was (dont know about you o) shocked to be honest, aside Mr Fashola, who i believe so much in, and Lai Mohammed who of course we all expected to be there and Mr Amaechi? lol, we are in for the same old Nigeria!

If you live in Lagos inn the past 8 years and you still saying Fashola didnt do a thing, you need to google God's personal number and give Him a call for special apology. The dude did wonderfully well, don't care how much he stole, just do your work, so i am suspecting he will be the Works and Housing Minister. On Lai Mohammed, yes, oppositions don't like him because they feel he talks too much but this is a PR person who is simply doing his job, Olisa Metu did the same for PDP so i see no reason why people on the other side are always against him, you people should better prepare for your Information minister (just predicting ni o, i am not GMB's adviser on ministerial post o) and aside those two, i really cant say about others, i hardly know them aside Fayemi and yes, Ngige! chei. GMB will give @DemolaRewaju mouth to talk well!

Honestly i was expecting unknown names, not necessarily unknown though, everyone were looking forward to names like Prof Pat Utomi, Dele Momodu, Mrs Ifueko Omigu and other young, vibrant technocrats but the names on that list are just what we are used to. I am personally not a fan of Ngige, he is too controversial, nothing personal and there is this former Sports Minister, he is now in APC, yes Bolaji Abdulahi (Thanks to Demo for the reminder), i like the guy, he is very sound but i've come to realize that one thing is to be sound and another is to have leadership quality.

Check out the list of your ministers-to-be: Babatunde Fashola- Lagos, Rotimi Amaechi- Rivers, Kayode Fayemi- Ekiti, Chris Ngige- Anambra, Ogbonaya Onu- Abia, Malami Abubakar- Kebbi, Aisha Alhassan- Taraba, Amina Mohammed- Gombe, Kemi Adeosun- Ogun, Ibe Kachikwu- Delta, Lt.-Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazzau-, Hadi Sirika- Katsina, Osagie Ehanire- Edo, Udoma Udo-Udoma- Akwa Ibom, Ahmed Isa Ibeto- Niger, Sulaiman Adamu- Jigawa, Ibrahim Jibril- , Adebayo Shittu-Oyo, Audu Ogbeh- Benue, Ahmed Musa, Lai Mohammed- Kwara.

Let's give GMB the benefit of doubt rather than condemning the list, like i said too, i only like just 2 people in this list so we are in the same position but come to thin of it, cant we be voting ministers too?

DEAR MR YINKUS AIYEFELE

Just like every other concerned people, i was shocked to see the report on twitter and of course, from Aunty Linda's blog, how on earth would people wanna attack someone like Bros Yinkus with such condition? Haba! That was my first though!

Since i was inside the bus then, and the girl beside me was stylishly staring at my phone, i tried as much as possible not to read the full details but i was tempted to know why, what he must have done, so i gave the sister Caro beside me the full privilege of watching CNN as i read the full gist.

So apparently, Bros Yinkus Aiyefel had gone to perform in a particular place and refused to 'settle' the boys of the town and they turned against him and his boys. If i was among the band of Aiyefele, to be honest, ill trade punch with him, i dont wanna call that stinginess but why are you trying to run away from your responsibilities? I call it responsibility because that is what YOU MUSICIANS have turned the touts to, they are your tools and we all know its the norm so why not do what you gotta do? They gave you millions of naira and you cant drop something for the boys? Haba!

Was wondering why Bros Yinkus didnt give them money until i saw this attire on him! Ndigbo!

At times we need to forget the money and think about our lives? Money, they say, is the root of all evils, people do kill for money o, especially the touts, they can kill because of WAZO (N50), thats paraga money mehn, they dont care how much, they just want you to make them "BE HAPPY" as used on the streets.

I heard 15 people were injured and the instruments were damaged.

See, i am NOT, dont get me wrong, i am not supporting this area boys or touts or whatever but the fact is, Government are suppose to do something with this people but are not doing anything about them, they are now part of us and thats something we need to live with. So many of us have been stopped on the streets by this "Area boys', several times, they think i am a yahoo boy, not just me though, we cant fight them naw, just make them "BE HAPPY" and move on, shikena! They will even tell you that its because they like you, thats why they are coming to you, their mouths are sweet like that, especially the ones from Ibadan, lol.

i dont wanna go back to editing but i've confirmed that Bros Yinkus was given N3m, thats pretty cheap though but then, if you give those boys JUST N20K, you still have N2,980.00 abi? pardon my mathematics, i got F9 in my first attempt before my brother helped me to sneak in answer and i got C5 later, i just hope NECO officials are not reading this. So Bros Yinka, N20K would have prevented all the damages and now with all the damages and injuries, you will spend more than that N20k, its so avoidable.

Meanwhile, Bros Yinka, get in touch with me for further advice.

i'm out. My previous blogs have been sports but wanna cut across everyone now, so leggo!
